Magnificent Edwardian country house hotel set in 3 acres of lawns and woodland offering peaceful and tranquil surroundings beautiful views and some of the best walking in the country. Our award winning Restaurant offers fine dining from local produce accompanied by an extensive range of personally selected wines and spirits. The hotel is totally smoke free. Children of 15 and above are welcome. All rooms are equipped with flat screen digital TV and DVD players and WiFi is available free throughout most of the Hotel.

Directions to The Leathes Head Hotel
From junction 40 of the M6 (Penrith exit) take the A66 towards Keswick.After 17 miles you will see the first exit to Keswick (on your left) DO NOT take this exit but continue on for another mile to a large roundabout.The first exit is signposted to Keswick and Borrowdale. Follow this road to the T junction and turn left into Keswick Town centre.At the first mini-roundabout turn right and follow this road around the town centre (bearing left). At the next mini-roundabout go straight on (there is no left exit at this roundabout) and then very shortly afterwards at the third mini-roundabout turn right onto the B5289 signposted to Borrowdale.Continue along this road for about 3.75 miles (passing the Lodore Hotel and the Borrowdale Hotel on your left).After a further 0.25 miles you will see our sign on your left - The Leathes Head Hotel.
